modesty....
well, i usually like to start with a definition, so lets start with that.

the definition of MODESTY
my definition :
to stay pure without showing anything inappropriate, through your attire.
dictionary definition :
Reserve or propriety in speech, dress, or behavior
let me say anything 3 in or more above your knees without anything under it is what i call inappropriate.
why don't we dress like this? why is it not ok?
well, lets do a bullet list of reasons(i just love lists =D)

• in the bible God says not to blend in with the world, to stand out, be different.
• guys already have enough temptations to deal with, and it doesn't help when we dress inappropriately.
• along with inappropriate dressing, comes pride, which is a whole 'nother story!

i could go on & on about why not to dress inappropriately, but i won't, for time reasons.
so lets just go with this....
if we dress inappropriately, we are disobeying our holy Lord. in that we probably don't WANT to.

  So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. ¹⁸ They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. ¹⁹ Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

that would be Ephesians 4:17-19

now lets do another bullet list

• no skirt or dresses 3 in above your knees
• shorts 3 in below your bottom or longer
• showing as little cleavage as possible.
• stomach is not revealing
• no spaghetti strap tanks
• no bikinis(swimming related...)

well thats my bullet list on what i think is inappropriate, and what is not.
